Waterfowl Hunting

On a cold, crisp morning an experienced hunting guide will escort you through the quiet marshes or maybe show you to a heated duck blind overlooking a flooded rice field set with decoys.  We offer a variety of options--heated pit blinds, layout blinds, sled blinds, floating blinds or wading in a break to take full advantage of the hunting opportunities.  Mallards, pintails, gadwalls, widgeons, wood ducks, blue-winged and green-winged teal as well as geese are seen regularly at Mallard Manor, and all species native to the Mississippi Flyway appear at one time or another.  Each day's experience is different and promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Upland Bird Hunting

Just as satisfying and adventure, you may want to try your skills at hunting geese.  Beautiful white front, snow and blue geese inhabit the whole area.  Or perhaps, an afternoon quail or rabbit hunt suits your tastes.  A dove hunt provides even one more option.  Again, our hunting guides will be available to assist you in finding the best game of your choice.

All hunters are provided with our guide’s superbly trained hunting dogs.  You can also bring your own hunting dog, which we can accommodate in our kennels.
